Gurgaon, July 22 (ANI): Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra came together to launch the much-touted ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ (Save the Daughter, Teach the Daughter) campaign. The campaign is aimed at improving India’s child sex ratio – the number of girls born for every 1,000 boys – and gender equality through access to education. Khattar urged people to come forward to spread the awareness about the campaign. Chopra expressed her excitement on being part of the campaign and said that being the brand ambassador for the campaign, she wanted to do real work and not just remain a name on papers. Dignitaries of the United States led by US Ambassador to India, Richard Verma also pitched in for the campaign.
