Over 4,000 Doctors begin indefinite strike in Mumbai

Mumbai, July 02 (ANI): After talks between resident doctors and the state medical education ministry failed on Wednesday, the Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) began their indefinite strike on Thursday. Around 4,000 resident doctors working with government and civic-run medical colleges in the state are participating in the strike, which will cripple health services in the state. This strike comes close on the heels of a similar strike by doctors in Delhi.
