PM Modi lays emphasis on cultural heritage between India and Central Asia

Astana, July 07 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed the gathering at Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan’s capital Astana. Modi said that Central Asia stands at the crossroads of Eurasia and it has been caught in currents of History and shaped it. Modi highlighted the rich cultural heritage that connects India and Central Asia. He said that heritage is the founding principle of love and devotion and it has always rejected forces of extremism. Modi also said that both countries have a special place in each other’s hearts but they have not paid much required attention. He added that in this troubled world, both countries must strengthen their defence and security cooperation to defend their values, national security and region’s peace. Further, Modi said that the two countries live close to crucible of extremism and terrorism.
