Police arrest three Maoists and seize weapons in Jharkhand

Latehar, July 09 (ANI): Police in Jharkhand arrested three Maoists and recovered huge quantities of weapons and other items being smuggled for rebel operations, a police official said. The rebels were arrested from Latehar district in a joint operation by a special police task force and the district police. Birthare added a racket, smuggling huge quantities of weapons and other items for Maoist operations was also discovered by the police. The arrested rebels have been identified as Umesh Yadav, a zonal commander, and his associates Srinath Singh and Ashish Singh.
