Rajasthan CM Raje attends Niti Aayog Meet at 7 RCR

New Delhi, July 15 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Wednesday attended the second meeting of the governing council of NITI Aayog meeting at 7 RCR. The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi wherein consultations were held on how most states were not able to implement the Land Acquisition Act passed by the previous government. Chief Ministers who attended the meeting communicated that the Land Acquisition Act needs to be amended. Chief Ministers from the opposition parties, excluding Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal skipped the NITI Aayog meeting. Nine chief ministers from the Congress party boycotted the meet. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday said that all the Chief Ministers, who had boycotted the second meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog, should introspect that not attending it is against the spirit of co-operative federalism.
