Muzaffarnagar, July 04 (ANI): A violent clash broke out between villagers and police personnel after a speeding truck killed two school children on the Delhi-Dehradun national highway on Saturday. The truck was on high speed when it hit a tempo carrying school children. Two students died on spot while three were taken to the district hospital. The condition of the injured students is reported to be serious. Bodies of the killed children have been sent for post-mortem. Agitated locals blocked the national highway and attacked the police by pelting stones on them. Police resorted to lathi charge to disperse the crowd. The area remains under a tense atmosphere after the incident.
