New Delhi, July 20 (ANI): Swati Maliwal, wife of AAP leader Navin Jaihind, took charge as the DCW (Delhi Commission for Women) Chief on Monday. The AAP’s decision to appoint Maliwal as the DCW Chief had garnered a lot of criticisms from various parties. Prior to her appointment as head of the women’s panel, Maliwal was posted as an advisor to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on public grievances and handles his Janta Samwad. She has been associated with the AAP chief since India Against Corruption (IAC) days. Maliwal replaced Barkha Shukhla Singh.
