Guntur, July 20 (ANI): Three people were killed and nine others suffered injuries when a tempo collided with a lorry in Andhra Pradesh on Monday. The accident took place in morning in Guntur district of the state. All the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital. The victims were the devotees returning from Rajahmundry city after taking holy dip in the Godavari River where religious festival ‘Pushkaram’ is being held. The festival which is held once every 144 years will conclude on July 25. The first day of the festival on July 14 was also marred by a stampede at the banks of the river where 27 people were killed and 40 were injured.
