New Delhi, July 04 (ANI): The UPSC Civil Services 2014 results have been declared and the top ranks have been backed by women candidates. Following this topper Ira Singhal’s parents expressed their pride over the result. Singhal’s father Rajendra Singhal said that it was just for a change that Ira gave UPSC exam and she topped it. Her mother said that Ira will work towards the betterment of the country, adding that it is like a dream come true for her as well as them. Candidate Ira Singhal topped the examination, with Renu Raj and Nidhi Gupta coming second and third. A total of 1,236 candidates have been recommended for appointment to IAS, IFS, IPS and central services.
