BJP allies in Bihar object to the slogan ‘Abki Baar Bhajapa Sarkar’

Patna: BJP allies Lok Jan Shakti Party and Rashtriya Lok Samata party have signaled objection over the poll slogan used by BJP “Abki Baar Bhajapa Sarkar”. In a joint press conference, LJP’s state president Pashupati Kumar Paras and his RLSP counterpart Arun Kumar, urged the saffron party to change it to “Abki Baar NDA Sarkar”.

The two leaders alleged that repeated use of the term Bhajapa Sarkar has confused their party workers and a message of unity would be spread if BJP uses the term NDA Sarkar. They emphasized that their party workers feel neglected amid massive poll campaign initiated by BJP.

The two parties also urged Bharatiya Janata Party to finalize the seat sharing arrangement within 7 says so that they get ample time for poll preparations. They called for repeat of 2010 seat sharing formula between BJP and JDU in which BJP fought on 101 seats while remaining went to allies.

However, the two leaders reaffirmed faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and stated that upcoming elections would be fought under his leadership. Few days earlier, LJP President Ram Vilas Paswan had denied his candidature for the chief Ministerial post in Bihar.
