BJP passes resolution against Congress during parliamentary meet

New Delhi, Aug 04 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Parliamentary Party meeting on Tuesday passed a resolution against Congress’ politics of obstructionism and negativity. The resolution was introduced by Ravi Shankar Prasad and was passed unanimously. The agenda of the meeting was to discuss the disruption of the House as well as the important bills pending. The peace accord between the Government and the NSCN was also discussed. The meeting comes a day after Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan suspended 25 Congress MPs over disruption of parliamentary proceedings under ruling 374 (A), leading to outrage from various quarters.
