New Delhi, Aug 05 (ANI): The Congress party on Wednesday staged a protest at Gandhi statue in Parliament premises over suspension of its 25 MPs from Lok Sabha. Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, Former PM Manmohan Singh and leaders including Anand Sharma, Pramod Tiwari, Ambika Soni and others came in large numbers wearing a black band on their arms to mark the protest. 25 Congress MPs were suspended by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan for five days for disturbing the Parliament’s functioning. However, according to sources, the Speaker might take the suspension order back soon.
