Nagaland, Aug 05 (ANI): It’s eco-friendly and economical! The first-of-its-kind bamboo toilet has been introduced in Nagaland. Governor PB Acharya formally inaugurated the bamboo toilets at the Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre at Dimapur as a part of the central government’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Drive). The 2 prototype toilets were an outcome of a 5-day training on “Bamboo toilets for private and community” jointly organized by Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency and South Asia Bamboo Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Urban Development and Poverty Alleviation.
