Election Commission briefs media about upcoming Bihar Assembly elections (Part – 2)

Patna, August 08 (ANI): The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Saturday addressef the media on the upcoming Assembly elections in Bihar in Patna. Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Nasim Zaidi, along with other senior officials of the Election Commission had on Friday arrived in Patna to assess preparations for the upcoming polls. Zaidi said that good thing about the electoral rolls is that there is 99.98% photo electoral roll in the state. He added that district level officials have been directed to publicize continuous process in which left out citizen can get their name registered. The assembly polls, slated for later this year, will be a heated affair, with six parties having merged under the Janata Parivar banner contesting against the BJP and the Congress.
