Hyderabad, Aug 03 (ANI): The family of Indian national detained in Libya wished for his safe return and appealed to the central government to act swiftly in bringing him back. Balram Kishan is among the four Indians who were detained late on Wednesday from near the Libyan coastal city of Sirte, an area that is under the control of Islamic State militants. Kishan’s wife Sridevi said that she spoke to her husband on Wednesday, but received the news of his detention from news channels. Labour Minister of Telangana, Bandaru Dattatreya met Sridevi and assured her of government assistance.
