New Delhi, August 15 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee hosted the ‘At-home’ reception at Rashtrapati Bhawan for Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers, Members of Parliament and various other dignitaries on the occasion of Independence Day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh were present on the occasion. Also present at the reception were Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and various other dignitaries. After the invitees had assembled, President Pranab Mukherjee arrived at the reception hall and cordially greeted all the guests. Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unfurled the national flag at Red Fort which was followed by the recital of national anthem.
