Indians & Pakistanis condemn ceasefire violation along Kashmir border

Jammu & Kashmir, Aug 04 (ANI): Residents living alongside the Line of Control (LoC) of India and Pakistan condemned the increasing ceasefire violations in their respective regions. The incidents of firing alongside the border were disturbing their lives and affecting their livelihood, they said. The reckless firings have forced many residents of Rajouri town to vacate their homes. They continue to live in a state of panic. Villagers added that the schools in the area are often closed and farmers avoid going to their fields for the fear of firing. Indian army officials, however, claimed that the situation was under control. Since they split 67 years ago, the two nations have fought each other in three wars, two over Kashmir. There has not been a full-blown war since they both tested nuclear weapons in 1998.
