Haridwar, August 02 (ANI): Special arrangements have been made for the Kawadias after the Kawad Yatra began in Haridwar. On July 30, the Northern Railway announced that it would run three special trains for Kawad Yatra. Two trains would run daily from Delhi to Haridwar via Shamli, while another special train would run daily via Hapur from August 1 to August 12. Authorities in Muzaffarnagar increased the security for the annual Kawad Yatra on 29th July, in the wake of the terrorist attack in Gurdaspur. The route of Kawad Yatra has been divided into 16 zones and 81 sectors. It has been increased from the earlier 75 sectors. Meanwhile, three Kawadias were killed and two others suffered injuries in a road accident on Muzaffarpur-Patna Mainroad at Turki Mela Chowk. Reportedly, people blocked the roads to protest against the mishap.
