MP train tragedy: Railway ministry dismisses reports of negligence, says no politics should be done

New Delhi, Aug 05 (ANI): Dismissing reports of negligence behind the Madhya Pradesh twin train derailment, Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha on Wednesday said the tragedy occurred due to natural reasons rather than human error. At least 28 people have died after two passenger trains, Kamayani Express and Janata Express, derailed within minutes of each other while crossing flooded tracks in Madhya Pradesh last night. However, Sinha stayed firm on reports of 12 deaths and 25 injuries. He also said that no politics should be done over the incident as it was an unfortunate one. Several NDRF teams have been rushed to the site of the derailment to carry out relief and rescue operations.
