Nitish Kumar hits back at PM Modi, says he was auctioning Bihar while giving package

Patna, Aug 18 (ANI): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech during his Bihar election campaign rally today. Kumar said that Bihar requires special assistance on account of thriving development and the NDA government at the Centre must not suffer from any misunderstanding with regard to granting Special Status or giving special assistance to the state, as what was being demanded, was a right and not to be seen as a favour. Kumar said that the way Modi was announcing the package it seemed like he was auctioning the state. He said that he would not hesitate to be a ‘yachak’ (seeker) for the state’s development, adding that he would go to any extent to ensure the welfare of the state.
