Post office in Jaipur remain open and functional on Sunday to pay respects to Dr. Kalam

Jaipur, Aug 02 (ANI): A post office in Jaipur city of Rajasthan remained open on Sunday as a mark of respect to late Former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Late Kalam always wanted that there be no holiday on his death, but instead asked all to work an extra day. Keeping in view his teachings, this post office management and administration decided to work on Sunday as a mark of tribute to Kalam. Dr. Kalam worked till the last day of his life. His devotion to work was inspirational and this post office employees is paying respects to the former president in the real sense. The employees too welcomed the step and worked with full devotion without complaint. Kalam, 83, passed away in Shillong after suffering a massive cardiac arrest while delivering a lecture to students at the Indian Institute of Management.
