Shiv Sena delegation calls on PM Modi over education initiatives

New Delhi, August 01 (ANI): Yuva Sena President Aditya Thackeray called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday. He was accompanied by a delegation comprising Shiv Sena MPs including Anandrao Adsul. Aditya Thackeray briefed the Prime Minister on voluntary initiatives for the education sector – including distribution of study material for Classes 8th, 9th and 10th through “Tablet PCs” in the state of Maharashtra. Thackeray also invited PM Modi to visit the “Virtual Classroom” project in civic schools in Mumbai. The Virtual Classroom project has been initiated by the Yuva Sena in collaboration with the Shiv Sena, where the children are taught without the use of textbooks, and notebooks. The Prime Minister appreciated the initiative and complimented Aditya Thackeray for the same.
