Meerut, Aug 03 (ANI): A woman was burnt alive for resisting molestation in Meerut city of Uttar Pradesh on Monday (August 03). According to a relative of the victim, the incident occurred when a man from the victim’s neighbourhood entered her home while she was alone and tried to molest her. The woman resisted, following which the man poured kerosene oil on her and set her ablaze. The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital with severe burn injuries, while the man is still absconding. Police said a team has been formed to nab the culprit.
