Kaziranga, Sep 02 (ANI): Rising water levels in the mighty Brahmaputra River in Dibrugarh district of Assam once again set the alarm bells ringing for authorities at neighbouring Kaziranga National Park. The threat comes just days after flood water had started receding in the national park following floods in nearby areas last week. Authorities at the park have started moving animals to higher places. Director of Kaziranga National Park, MK Yadav, said that the park was likely to be inundated by flood water. No loss of wildlife was reported in the floods last week. Park authorities have also increased vigil to prevent poaching. Situated on the banks of Brahmaputra River, the Kaziranga National Park covers an area of about 430 square kilometres.
