Poonch, Sep 01 (ANI): Residents of Pakistan, who were in India to meet their relatives, said the two neighbouring nations should not indulge in cross-border firing and peace dialogue is the only solution to resolve issues. Cross-border firing between India and Pakistan killed at least nine people on August 28, the day India marked the 50th anniversary of the 1965 Indo-Pak war. On the Pakistani side of the frontier, six civilians were killed and more than 40 were treated for wounds in hospital in the town of Sialkot, the media wing of the Pakistani military said. The Pakistani nationals, who were now leaving for their country from Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir, said exchange of fire claims innocent lives and affect the livelihood of the people living along the border. Heavy shelling and unprovoked firing along the international border and Line of Control (LoC) has also forced people to move to safer places.
