PM Modi addresses students ahead of Teachers’ Day (Part – 2)

New Delhi, Sep 04 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday addressed the students ahead of Teachers’ Day. He appealed for an intense teacher-student relationship for better growth and development of a child. India will celebrate Teachers’ Day on Saturday. The prime minister also remembered Late President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on the occasion. He also appealed the teachers to avoid making students as robots and inculcate art and culture in them. Earlier, PM Modi released a commemorative coin of Rs 125 denomination and a circulation coin of Rs 10 denomination in the honour of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former President and educationist, teacher and philosopher, on the eve of his birth anniversary. He also launched the website for Kala Utsav, to promote art in education.
