PM Modi meets Japan’s PM Shinzo Abe at COP21

Paris, Nov 30 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe at COP21in Paris on Monday. Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister attended a lunch hosted by French President Francois Hollande at COP21. Modi and Hollande are scheduled to launch international solar alliance later in the day, aimed at eventually bringing clean and affordable solar energy within the reach of all. Prime Minister also met his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif at COP 21 here today. The two leaders shook hands and exchanged pleasantries. During the conference, India’s 25-member delegation will focus on Prime Minister Modi’s call for ‘Climate Justice’ that he had made in his address at the United Nations General Assembly last month.
