Terror and talks don’t go together, says Kirti Azad

New Delhi, Nov 26 (ANI): Former Cricketer Kirti Azad reiterated terror and talks do not go together. His remark came against the recent agreement of India and Pakistan to play bilateral series in Sri Lanka from December 15. Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif permitted the country’s cricket team to play a series with India at a neutral venue, media reported on Thursday, possibly clearing the decks for a bilateral tournament in Sri Lanka. The PCB signed an agreement with the BCCI to play six bilateral series between 2015 and 2023. PCB claimed the Indian board agreed to play the first one in the UAE, which has served as Pakistan’s home venue after the 2009 Lahore terror attacks stopped international teams from travelling to the country over security concerns.
