Maneka Gandhi on Juveniles

New Delhi, Dec 01 (ANI): Women and Child Welfare Minister Maneka Gandhi on being asked about the Nirbhaya case said there should be a proper tweaking of the law to ensure that every person accused of sexual harassment is reported to the local police station. Moreover, she added that the media has zero tolerance for child abuse and streamlined efforts have been made by publishing a hand book and releasing a movie to educate children to differentiate between a good touch and a bad touch .On the development of women and children, she said her ministry is working on the refinement of Angadwadi schemes. Around 24 lakh women would be trained and receive incentives, including those who are working for 10 years, will be promoted .She stated that she has never heard of of women not being allowed in temples.
