Mumbai, Dec 01 (ANI): Reserve Bank of India Governor Raghuram Rajan on Monday said the central bank is focusing on transmission of rate cuts passed earlier this year, but added that the RBI remains open to easing interest rates further. He said that further rate cuts would be dependent on inflation and external developments, and reiterated his call for banks to lower their lending rates to reflect the steep easing undertaken by the RBI this year.
