Delhi Police committed to women safety: Bassi

New Delhi, Feb 08 (ANI): Commenting on the summon issued by Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) for not sharing the data regarding crimes against women in Delhi, Commissioner B.S. Bassi on Monday said that city’s police force is committed towards safety of women, adding that exchange of documents among two government organisations is a dignified process. Bassi is due to appear before the DCW at 4pm today for producing the required records and explaining the “unreasonable” delay in the sharing of data. The DCW has informed the Delhi Police that it is conducting a detailed study on women’s safety in the national capital for which it needs the information to make appropriate recommendations to the AAP Government.
