Rajouri, Feb 06 (ANI): A horse show was recently organised in Jammu and Kashmir as part of the Nowshera Day celebrations. Every year, the Indian Army celebrates Nowshera Day on February 5 and 6 to commemorate the sacrifice of soldiers who laid down their lives to save the town of Nowshehra from Pakistani intruders in 1947.The Nowshera Brigade of the Indian Army organised the two-day event in Rajouri District. The show started with a game of polo and horse riders jumping hurdles. School children from across the region turned up in large numbers and were enchanted by the horses. The residents were also awed by a host of gymnastics feats, martial arts and musical performances by army men.
