JNUSU president sent to 3-day police custody

New Delhi, Feb 12 (ANI): Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) President Kanhaiya Kumar, who was arrested by the Delhi Police on Friday, has been sent to three-day police custody. He was arrested in connection with the protests against an event ‘mourning’ the hanging of 2001 Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru. Although, the Delhi Police asked for 5-day police custody for Kumar. Advocate Vajinder Singh said they want to know who was has registered the complaint against Kumar.
