Bangalore, Apr 30 (ANI): Bengaluru Metro, which was inaugurated on Friday, was flagged off from Vidhana Soudha metro station on Saturday morning. The east-west corridor comprises a 5.12-km underground section which makes the Namma Metro or Bengaluru Metro the first in South India to have an operational underground section. This is the first phase of Bengaluru Metro that has become operational.
