Auckland, Apr 30 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee was accorded a ceremonial reception as he arrived in New Zealand on the last leg of his two-nation visit on Saturday. Mukherjee is the first Indian head of state to visit New Zealand. Mukherjee was accorded a Maori welcome by members of the tribal community. They also performed a traditional dance. The Indian President also inspected the guard of honour. Soon after, he sat down for official talks with New Zealand’s Governor General Sir Jerry Mateparae at his residence.
