Rajouri (Jammu and Kashmir), May 30 (ANI): A fire broke out in the forest area near Baba Ghulam Shah University in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. Fire tenders rushed to the spot and tried to douse off the flames. They were joined by locals and police to control the fire from spreading any further. Meanwhile, the varsity said it was on high alert to prevent any untoward situation on the campus. The incident comes days after frequent incidents of forest fire destroyed acres of land in Jammu and Kashmir and other northern states, including Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
