Gaya, May 02 (ANI): District administration officials in Gaya were honoured by the Tanzimul Ulema, District Coordination Committee Gaya. For the Ram Navmi processions which were held peacefully as the people and district administration left nothing to chance. The city’s glorious tradition came alive when faithful from both the religions joined hands together to make the festival a success. The Hindus and Muslims coordinated and cooperated in maintaining law and order during the religious procession. The imams had committed their support to the authorities for the event. In Gaya, the Hindu and Muslim devotees have always used the same water to make offerings to the Sun God for final salvation of ancestral souls and pre prayer holy wash on the western and eastern banks of River Phalgu. Such gestures will go a long way in strengthening the secular fabric of the country further.
