New Delhi, May 02 (ANI): In the much-needed relief, the Met department has predicted a drop in temperature across northern regions of the country. Most of the states are reeling under scorching heat with temperatures crossing 40 degrees Celsius. People in the national capital are reeling under sweltering heat and are being forced to stay indoors. This year, winter too was lighter than before. The Ministry of Earth Sciences attributes the overall hotter climate to the El Nino effect.
