Inspired by A.P.J. Kalam, cancer society working to make Chennai cancer-free

Rameswaram, May 26 (ANI): With an aim to make the people aware to prevent the cause of cancer, a Cancer Alleviation Awareness camp was held in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, recently. Cancer is the major public health concern across India and has now become one of the major causes of death in the world. Dr. Vijayaragavan of Paterson Cancer Center of Chennai said his foundation is inspired by former president Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. He said they are working on different modules of cancer to make a cancer-free society. The three most common fatal cancers in men are oral, stomach and lung. For women, cervical, stomach and breast are the most dangerous.
