Inspiring! Maharashtra farmer sells 10 acres land to build dam

Akola, May 26 (ANI): In an inspiring move, a farmer from the drought-hit Maharashtra region sold a large chunk of his land to build a dam to preserve water. Sanjay Tidke, who owns nearly 30 acres of land in Sangvi Durgwada village of Murtizapur Taluka, sold out 10 acres for Rs 55 lakh and used Rs 20 lakh to build a dam with a huge water storage capacity.
