Pakistanis shed humanitarian tear, says Kargil war martyr’s daughter

Jalandhar, May 04 (ANI): In a powerful message through a video on social media, a 19-year-old girl, who lost her father Captain Mandeep Singh in the 1999 Kargil war, has appealed Indians and Pakistanis to make peace without uttering a single word. In an exclusive interview with ANI, Gurmehar said after the Pathankot Airbase attack she read news about a martyred soldier who left behind a three-year-old daughter, which made her question the society about such incidents. Not only from India but people from Pakistan have poured in love and support through comments and shares on the video. Gurmehar Kaur uploaded a video on the social media in which she showed placards on which she depicted the plight of her pain when she lost her father in the Kargil war and sending out a strong message that, ‘Pakistan didn’t kill her father, the war did’.
