Shillong, May 27 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Shillong to address the 65th plenary session of regional planning body, North Eastern Council (NEC). PM Modi’s visit is expected to fast track development projects in the eight northeastern states. In various technical sessions, discussion on developmental projects related to livelihood, entrepreneurship, infrastructure, connectivity will take place. This is PM Modi’s maiden visit to Shillong after becoming the Prime Minister. PM Modi will also electronically inaugurate Kamakhya-Katra weekly train.
