Haridwar, May 06 (ANI): Pranav Pandya, the Head of All World Gayatri Parivar (AWGP), on Friday turned down the offer of becoming a nominated member of the Rajya Sabha. Explaining his decision, Pandya said that the Gayatri Parivar is a family to him and entering into politics might bring problems in his family. He also claimed that he took the decision on the basis of his conscience. Pandya said he had told the board of the Gayatri Parivar about his decision and “the move was welcomed by them. On May 4, President Pranab Mukherjee had nominated Pandya to the Upper House.
