Guwahati, May 23 (ANI): Sarbananda Sonowal on Tuesday took oath as the new Chief Minister of Assam. He is the first-ever Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader to hold the post. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, senior party leader L.K. Advani, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, president Amit Shah and chief ministers of five BJP states were present at the event.
