Siliguri, May 31 (ANI): Five days ahead of the World Environment Day on June 5, school children in large numbers distributed ‘Tulsi’ plants among the residents of Siliguri. The students have an aim of distributing 1,00,001 tulsi plants. According to Sailesh Singhal, they want to make every individual aware and are distributing tulsi as part of ‘Gift one and Plant one’ scheme. The main motto behind this move is to make the common people aware about the importance of trees in the society.
