Two held for possessing leopard skin

Jalpaiguri, May 31 (ANI): Two people were arrested on charges of possessing a nine feet long leopard skin in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal. The accused identified as Kalu Singh Biswakarma, a poacher, and Arjun Kumar Rasaily, an agent, are of Bhutanese origin. Acting upon a tip-off, forest officials of Balecoba range apprehended the accused in the nearby Alipurdar district when they were trying to smuggle the skin to Nepal. He further added that the accused were part of a poachers gang. Police have filed a case against the accused who will be produced before a district court today.
