Women rights activist pulls up Samajwadi Party govt. over Bahraich gang-rape case

Jaipur, May 29(ANI): Furious over the rape and murder of a 15-year-old girl in Bahraich, women rights activist Kavita Srivastava on Sunday pulled up the Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh for failing to uphold the dignity of women. She accused the Akhilesh Yadav-led government of not taking crime against women seriously. She demanded compensation for the bereaved parents and stringent police action in the case.
