India’s youth should learn skills critical for country’s prosperity: World Bank President

New Delhi, June 29 (ANI): World Bank Group President Tim Yong Kim on Wednesday said that India being one of the most important economies in the world makes it important for the nation’s youth to understand and learn professional skills which is critical for the continued prosperity of the country. Kim, who is on a two-day visit to India, interacted with the students of the Integrated Skill Development Scheme (ISDS) center and also tried his hands at some of the machines. ISDS center of the Textiles Ministry is centre where rural youth, who are just Class 12 passed, are trained for various jobs.
