Muslim boy from right-wing backed school is Assam’s Class-10 topper

Assam, June 01 (ANI): A Muslim boy from humble background, Sarfaraz Hussain, topped Class 10 exams from a school backed by Sangh Parivar in Betkuchi near Guwahati in Assam. In the results declared on Tuesday, Hussain, a student of the Shankardev Shishu Niketan, secured 590 marks out of 600.According to reports, the 16-year-old has also won several awards in Sanskrit essay-writing and debate competitions, apart from topping the all-Guwahati Gita recitation contest couple of years back. Hussain said he would opt for science stream in his higher secondary education as he aspires to become an engineer. He added that he do not have words to express it.
