Over 150 Bangladeshi minority families take refuge in Tripura

Tripura, June 26 (ANI): At least 150 Bangladeshi minority families crossed border and took refuge in Tripura on Saturday. The vulnerable families, who have taken shelter in Champahowar village of Khowai district, reportedly hail from Bangladesh’s Habiganj district and belong to Kharia Hindustani community. Border Security Forces’ (BSF) 130 Batallion is in constant touch with the Border Guards Bangladesh and are yet to arrive at a conclusion with regard to the same.
